All Good Things Must Come to a Beginning

8 May

Camping.

My dear friend, it had been much too long.

A whole year in fact.

Beautiful morning sun, rising after a perfectly cool night of (restless) sleep.

Though not far from home in distance, the weight of reality was lifted.

Even though only for a night.

Home it felt, just the same.

With friends, like family.

The comforts of home, not far away.

Musical talent abounding. (Note that Sergio, on the far right, is playing the iPad.)

“Hiking” through nature.

Enjoying the simple beauty of creation.

Taking advantage of every opportunity.

A single night.

Many memories made.

All good things must come to an end.

Yet, the end of one leads to the beginning of another…

Look who bought a rode bike!!!

I bought this bike at B&B Bicycles in Cedar Hill, TX.

They were so helpful!

Their first priority was making sure that I was getting a bike that fulfilled my goals.  There was no pressure applied to me in any way by the sales staff.  They gave me space and time to make my decision.  The salesman even stepped away when I nervously test road the bike in the parking lot.

It was clear that he was passionate about cycling and he just wanted to share that with others.  I had an incredible experience at their store and will definitely be doing business with them in the future. (Turns out I know someone who is related to the owners, but I found that out hours later. )

Guess who is going for an easy ride tomorrow…just for fun (even though it is my rest day)!
